Our Programming

Our passion lies in supporting our local queer and trans community. We started small in 2022 with our Queer Makers Markets to support working artists and have since expanded our programming to serve the greater community. Our goal is to ensure all our programs are sustainable in the long-term and make a positive impact in the lives of artists, makers, and families across the Tallahassee area.

Queer Makers Market

Our flagship program, the Queer Makers Market is currently held six times a year with a special Pride Edition in June, and our Annual Holigays Market in mid-December. Each market features 12-20+ individual artists and makers, all members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Our primary motivator is to provide LGBTQIA+ folks with a joyful and affirming space while living in Florida's capitol city. Our hope is that everyone who comes to the market is able to relax in community empowerment while discovering amazing local artists and makers.

You can find our scheduled markets on our event calendar and RSVP for a reminder 3 days before!

Interested in participating as an artist or maker? Head on over to our Market Application and F.A.Q. page.

Because our markets serve a marginalized community we ask that all news and media requests are made in advance with our Director

Trans*formations:
Crafting Beyond the Binary

Our newest program is a free monthly trans-focused community building and crafting meeting. Each meeting has its own theme and is facilitated by an experienced professional. Participants are provided with a hands-on crafting project and spend time in group discussion or listening. While a crafting project will be provided participants are welcome to bring their own supplies and/or projects to focus on.

Trans*formations is designed for members of the trans community to explore their identities and build community. We ask that participants self-identify under the trans umbrella, which includes non-binary and gender non-conforming folks. Additionally, every other month is a BIPOC-only Trans*formations meeting.

Pre-registration is required for participation. You can find out more about our Trans*formations program and facilitator on our program page

You can find registration for Trans*formations: Crafting Beyond the Binary meetings on our event calendar.
